What we collect

When you use CBR Wine Hunter to plan a visit, share an itinerary, or sign up for our occasional updates, we collect the information you provide directly: typically an email address, and the contents of any itinerary you build on the site.

How we use it

We use email addresses only for the purpose you provided them: emailing you an itinerary you generated, or sending you the occasional updates you've signed up to receive. We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

Newsletter signups

When you sign up for our occasional updates, we send a confirmation link to the address you provided. You're added to the list only after you click that link. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, or by contacting us.

For each newsletter signup we record the email address, the time you signed up and confirmed, the page on the site where you signed up, and the IP address at the time of consent. We retain this information for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping after you unsubscribe.

Itinerary emails

When you email yourself an itinerary, we use your address only to send that email. We don't add you to any list or retain your address beyond the immediate delivery of the itinerary, unless you separately sign up for our occasional updates on the thank-you page.

How we store it

Email addresses for our subscriber list are stored encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard envelope encryption with regularly rotated keys, and apply backup retention policies designed to make accidental disclosure unlikely.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Cloudflare's standard infrastructure cookies for security and performance, and may use first-party analytics to measure site traffic in aggregate. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
